Four out of five Americans will have an attack of back pain during their lifetime. Many people are doomed to a life of endless visits to the back doctor. That is because once you have your first back pain attack, you are four times as likely to have a recurrence. If you have back or neck pain, we are now in a position to help you kick the habit.

CoastalSpine currently acts as a regional center of excellence for back and neck problems. We receive the most complex cases of back and neck pain from across the state of New Jersey

Just what the doctor ordered—a nonsurgical approach to back and neck pain
What makes this spine center unique is its emphasis on a nonsurgical approach to back and neck problems. The spine center is directed by specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation (also called physiatrists) as well as spine surgeons. These physicians have advanced training in back and neck pain and often are successful in helping people return to activity nonsurgically. CoastalSpine is the only spine center in the state of New Jersey to put spine-specialized orthopedic surgeons and spine neurosurgeons together under one roof with all the other nonsurgical disciplines for treatment of back and neck pain.

If your back or neck problem requires surgery, the surgeons at CoastalSpine already receive the area's most complex surgical cases and are proficient in minimally invasive techniques. These cases include herniated discs, spinal fractures, spinal deformity, spinal tumor and scoliosis. These fellowship-trained spine surgeons uses the most advanced instrumentation and spine surgery techniques.
