Choose A Doctor
At Coastal Spine, we realize that choosing a back pain physician isn’t easy, especially if you have sought treatment that did not help resolve your medical condition. There are some factors to consider when choosing your physician.
How Specialized Is The Physician?
Does he or she work with one type of condition, or is he or she a generalist, moving from one area of the body to another per patient?
We believe that being a specialized spine physician or neck pain physician is incredibly beneficial for patients. As spine only specialists, we are not only able to recognize the root of your back or neck pain, but we are also up-to-date on the latest information and technology.
How Was The Physician Trained?
All our specialists are board-certified, and many have completed prestigious fellowships in their specific fields. Our team of spine physicians and neck pain physicians joined Coastal Spine after successful careers in local hospitals and healthcare systems. They came here because they wanted to work solely with problems of the neck and spine, providing our patients with the best possible treatments and practices in the South Jersey region.

Is The Physician Surgery Prone?
We are focused on Minimally invasive solutions to back and neck pain. While surgery is sometimes a necessity, our back pain physicians and staff work with patients to try other recovery methods first. When our spine physicians do perform surgery, we strive to do so in the most noninvasive way possible.
Will My Insurance Company Cover My Treatments?
Cost is, of course, a factor, which is why Coastal Spine accepts a variety of health insurance plans. When we are not considered in-network to your plan, we will work with you and your insurance company to ensure you receive the care you need at an affordable cost. Our dedicated team will work specifically on insurance issues as related to care every step of the way.
